Youngsters will have the opportunity to learn from ex-pros and receive instruction in pitching, batting, baserunning, fielding and conditioning. Ward's coaching staff for his clinics includes Mark Eichorn, Candy Maldonado, Lloyd Moseby, Rance Mulliniks, Paul Spoljaric, Nigel Wilson, Jesse Barfield and Danny Cox. The clinic, hosted by the Oakville Minor Baseball Association, is open to boys and girls between the ages of eight and 16. It will run Aug. 11-14 and be held at Oakville Park, located on McCraney St. (opposite White Oaks Secondary School). Sessions will run from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. All participants will receive a baseball clinic tshirt and an autographed baseball from the instructors.
