Police said shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Monday, two men entered the Mr. Sub store, located at 3420 Rebecca St., and confronted the lone employee. One suspect produced a black handgun and demanded money. The employee handed over an undisclosed amount of cash. The two men then fled the store and were seen going over a fence and into a vehicle described as a grey older model Dodge Caravan. The Halton Regional Police Canine Unit searched the area and recovered some of the money dropped by the fleeing suspects. The first suspect is described as between 20 and 30 years old, five-feet tall with a medium build. He wore a white hooded sweatshirt, baggy jeans and a red balaclava over his face. The second suspect is described as between 20 to 30 years of age, taller than the first suspect with a medium build. He wore a green hooded sweatshirt, balaclava and baggy jeans. The Halton Regional Police is continuing to investigate this incident.
