He was born in Collingwood, Ontario. Chuck retired from Blue Circle, as a cement driver in 2002. He was the son of the late Charles and Sarah (Grant) Bennett. He is survived by his wife, Gayle Morrison, Sluice Point; a son, Kent, Toronto, Ont.; a daughter, Christine (Will) Maria, Mississauga, Ont.; grandsons, Joshua and Lucas Maria; brothers, Phil (June) Bennett, Oakville, Ont., Jim (Carol) Bennett, Burlington, O n t . ; s i s t e r- i n - l a w, V e r a B e n n e t t , Dundas, Ont. He was ver y fond and caring of his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Mae Shields; a brother, Grant Bennett. Chuck was an avid g a r d e n e r, f i s h e r m a n a n d a l l a r o u n d outdoorman. He was a fine storyteller, with a great sense of humour, often at his own expense. As a young man, he loved to box and play hockey. Most of all, Chuck loved Gayle, and his dogs, and will be greatly missed by everyone whose life he touched.
