The concert is part of the Jazz at the Museum series, which raises money for the museum's capital renovation campaign. Yarema is a jazz and blues piano player and a singer/songwriter. "Tyler's voice and blistering piano are not to be missed," said Steve Baker, Museum Foundation chair and jazz series spokesperson in a press release. He is also a regular on the Toronto club scene. His influences include the likes of Frank Sinatra, Feist, Oscar Peterson and Bob Marley. On stage Yarema will be joined by bass player Terry Wilkins, who has been involved with The Flying Circus from 1969 to 1973. Ticket sales will go to the Museum Foundation which is raising money for the museum's capital expenses. The conservation area is in Milton.
