Hawks peewee teams win gold, bronze at provincials A pair of Oakville Minor Lacrosse Association peewee teams won medals at the recent provincial field lacrosse championships in Brampton. The peewee 1 Hawks earned bronze in the A division, winning three of their five games, while the peewee 3 Hawks claimed gold in the D division by posting a 5-1 record. The two peewee squads were part of the 10-team contingent the OMLA sent to this year's provincials. The peewee 1 Hawks' only losses came to eventual gold-medalist Clarington and silver-medalist Oshawa. Oakville downed St. Catharines 6-2 in the bronze-medal game.
