Doherty was the second-lead- ing scorer on her team and was viewed as a team leader both on and off the field. Her tenacity on draws (faceoffs) made for easy possessions for her squad. Doherty, a goalie in rep hockey, will attend Abbey Park High School this year. Hills strong work ethic enabled her to scoop up most of the ground balls that came her way, leading to extra possessions for her club. Hill, who will attend T.A. Blakelock High School this year, was also known for her positive team-first atti- tude throughout the inaugural season for girls lacrosse in Oakville.
