Dont miss out on all the fun this Saturday when Oakville welcomes Santa Claus at the 62nd Annual Santa Claus Parade. This years theme is A Reel Christmas at the Movies. With lots of colourful and unique float entries moving down the streets of downtown Oakville and Kerr Village and a fabulous line- up of marching band, kids and kids-at-heart will be getting into the Christmas spirit. Starting at 9 am, the Parade will begin at Lakeshore Road and Reynolds, go west on Lakeshore to Kerr Street, north on Kerr and end at Kerr and Stewart Streets. Once again, Santa Claus returns with his sweetheart from the North Pole. Best known for keeping him on his toes throughout the year, Mrs. Claus herself is the Parades Grand Marshall. Joining Mrs. Claus in the beautifully deco- rated Cinderella carriage is 10-year old colour- ing contest winner Victoria Lawrynowycz. Her drawing was selected out of over 100 entries that were submitted. Melissa Lovric, age 7, Alexandra Werstruck, age 8 and Kaitlyn Shikaze, age 9, were runner- ups in the colouring contest. They will both ride in the windows of Santa's float, along with the winners of the Kerr Village Scavenger Hunt Aliya Thornton, Age 6 and Cynthia Parker, Age 10. Parade is a fun-filled day for the whole family
