Giles started the MAD Movement in 2008. MAD is an acronym for Make A Difference. He wanted to encourage others to help those in need and to pay it forward in the communi- ty. For those who attended Giles' party, bringing a toy was only half of it. Giles also asked partygoers to do a good deed, unrelated to money, in the community.
