Blades l d products d in running f for prestigious NCAA hockey award Former Oakville Blades stars Chris Haltigin and Scott Greenham are among the 20 finalists for the prestigious Lowe's Senior Class Award in NCAA Division 1 hockey. Chris Haltigin, now at the Rochester Institute of Technology (R.I.T.), and Scott Greenham, a student at University of AlaskaFairbanks, are up for the award that recognizes NCAA Division 1 seniors for notable Chris Haltigin achievements in four areas of excellence -- community, classroom, character and competition. Haltigin, a defenceman, and Greenham, a goaltender, were members of the Blades 2007-08 squad that won the Dudley Hewitt Cup central Canadian championship and advanced to the RBC Royal Bank Cup national tournament.
