Beloved husband of Ann for 56 years, loving father of Julie (Randy), Susan and David (Mary) and cherished Grandpa to Nicole, Christine, Brian, Michael and Jonathan. Born in England, Richard was a one-time RAF English boxing champ before immigrating with his wife, Ann, in 1964 to Oakville where they raised their family and Richard continued his interest in boxing as a ref, coach and President of the Ontario Boxing Association. He was a long-time employee of the Hudson Bay Company - well-liked by his many colleagues, co-workers and customers - and a long-standing member of Hopedale Presbyterian Church. Special thanks to the w o n d e r f u l , c a r i n g s t a ff o f t h e Waterford. Visitation is on Friday June 1st from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home at 64 Lakeshore Rd West, in Oakville. A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Saturday June 2nd at Hopedale Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Alzheimer's Society. SCHWEITZER, Manfred "Fred" Passed away at his home in his 65th year. Fred was the devoted and supportive Dad of Jennifer and April and the Opa to Colton. Fred will be lovingly remembered by his brother Karl and sister in law Theresa. He was the cherished son of his late mother Theresa Schraeder. For over thirty years as an Insurance broker Fred provided an unmatched level of personal service to his clients many of whom became his friends. A happy man with a passion for life, music and travel.
