Power of Movement is Canada's largest yoga fundraiser in support of arthritis and autoimmune diseases and throughout the day, yoga mega-sessions will take place in 14 cities. "Each year we hope to exceed our fundraising goal to help the 4.6 million Canadians living with arthritis and autoimmune diseases and this year is no different," said David Prowten, executive director of the Arthritis Research Foundation, the organization behind Power of Movement. "Everyone does yoga, and this is your chance to do it for a great cause. I encourage everyone to join us on March 3 in a celebration of movement to help raise money for critical research that can change people's lives." Now in its seventh year, Power of Movement has raised more than $1.3 million for the cause. The Mississauga-Oakville session will be at the University of Toronto Mississauga campus, RAWC building and run by yoga educators Denise Pala and Elena Spina.
