ECKERT, Conrad Joseph 1932-2014 It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the passing of Con Eckert on January 27, 2014. After a long battle with cancer, he passed away at home at the age of 81. Con leaves behind his loving wife, best friend & soul mate, Adele, of 58 years. He is dearly missed by his children Tim & (Lorri), Dave, Rob & (Dana) and Sandra. Cherished by his grandchildren Jessica, DJ, Mikayla, Cassidy, Kaitlin, Olivia & Georgia. Thank you to Dr. Peter Bolland & family, the staff at Credit Valley Hospital, CCAC, Vince & Tracey Ryan, family & friends for their compassion and support throughout his illness. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
