Do you know this man? by David Lea Oakville Beaver Staff Police enforcing safe driving Police are on the lookout for misbehaving drivers this week as Halton police join law enforcement agencies across the country during Canada Road Safety Week May 13-19. Officers will be on the lookout for impaired drivers, people not wearing seatbelts, aggressive drivers, those ignoring posted speed limits, driving while distracted and more. Canada Road Safety Week is a reminder that an essential part of the enforcement job is to save lives and reduce injuries on roads. Police say there have been 49 deaths and 107 serious injuries in Halton over the last four years related to vehicle collisions. The resulting lifelong impact on people and their families can't be captured by statistics. Canada Road Safety Week is sponsored by the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police and Transport Canada and is part of a safety strategy which has a goal of making the country's roads among the safest in the world by 2015. 3 | Wednesday, May 14, 2014 | OAKVILLE BEAVER | www.insideHALTON.com Halton police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man after a female employee at Tim Hortons, 3480 Superior Ct., was allegedly flashed late last month.
