The two Oakville teens helped Toronto-based Leaside Red win under-18 girls' Tier 1 gold last weekend at RIM Park in Waterloo. Leaside did not lose a game throughout the threeday provincial championship tournament, claiming the gold Sunday with a 25-20, 25-19 victory over Mississauga Pakmen 17U. Leaside entered provincials as the top seed after winning all its tournaments in Ontario this season.
