The long-time national women's team star was one of eight 2015 inductees announced Wednesday by the hall of fame. Lang scored nine goals in 92 career appearances for Canada before her career ended prematurely due to Kara Lang knee injuries. She is the youngest-ever player to score a goal in international play, tallying against Wales in Algarve Cup competition in 2002 -- when she was 15 years, 132 days old. At the age of 16, she played in all six games for Canada at the 2003 FIFA Women's World Cup. The Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame's induction ceremony will take place Nov. 8 in Vaughan. Ex-Leafs to tee it up in Canadian Open week opener More than 20 former Toronto Maple Leafs, including members of Toronto's last Stanley Cup-winning squad, will be at Glen Abbey Golf Club Monday to participate in the first event of the 2015 RBC Canadian Open tournament week.
