U15 GIRLS GOLD IN GLOUCESTER: Yoo-Rim Lee and Tamia Noel scored goals as the Oakville Soccer Club's under-15 C girls' rep team defeated Quebec's Kirkland Lakeshore 2-1 to win the championship at the recent Gloucester Invitational Soccer Tournament in Ottawa. In Oakville's other games, the team lost 3-0 to Lakeshore, tied the West Ottawa Soccer Warriors 0-0, downed the Ottawa Russell Raiders 5-0 and pounded the Ottawa Dragons 8-0. Jenna McDonald and Lee each recorded a hat trick versus the Dragons. Priya Liberatore, Erica Sampson and Samantha Gale also scored for Oakville during round-robin play.
