She noted her experience as a provincial sales manager for Vuarnet Canada and as an artist has taught her how to market ideas and said she would be able to meet with businesses and deliver compelling pitches for them to move to Oakville. "I think Oakville could use someone like me," said McLeod. "As your councillor here in Ward 2, I will bring my experience, drive and commitment to everything I do. I will listen to the residents of Ward 2 and make your voices heard. "I will join the other two women on council to bring in a new world of experience and perspective," added McLeod.
