Thompson BHYC hosts Waterfront Festival Regatta Following it's huge success last year, the Bronte Harbour Yacht Club is again hosting this year's Regatta at the Oakville Waterfront Festival on Saturday, June 26th. An total of 66 boats raced last year rais­ ing funds for the Family Division of the Salvation Army. Riding high on the wave of its previous popularity, this year's race is expected to be bigger and better than ever. The Waterfront Regatta will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 26th, with a skipper's meeting that morning at 11 a.m. Registration is $35 for the boat and skip­ per, and $12.50 for each additional crew member. Registration fees include an OWF T-shirt, tickets for a post-Regatta BBQ, live enter­ tainment and your own OWF button which entitles you to participate in all of the Festival activities all weekend. Registration is at the Oakville Waterfront Festival office in Coronation Park, Oakville. The first 50 applicants receive a free race hat.
