Keith will be remembered as a great husband, father, grandfather, great­ grandfather, a superior businessman, a great racer and an all-around remarkable person. He is predeceased by his son Steve and his brother Bill. Keith is survived by his loving wife Ruth Ann of 58 years, his three children; Brian (Yvonne), Chuck (Elizabeth) and Lisa (Andrew), ten grandchildren and four great-grand­ children. Keith is also survived by his two sisters Norma and Pat. Keith was born in Minden, Ontario on September 2, 1941 to Ken and Ellen Barton. At the age of fourteen he left home to move to Wilberforce, Ontario to work for the veneer company. At the age of sixteen he le ft for O akv ille to w ork for Lakeshore Die Casting and met the love of his life at the same time, marrying her a year later at the age of seventeen. It was around this age that he found the other love of his life, car racing. His racing career was put on hold while he transferred to Montreal working for Jonergin Graphics until 1983 where his life took him back to Oakville to start B&B Decals with his son where his legacy remains today. During those many years he developed friendships that often became like family. He will be greatly missed by many of the people that he has helped and befriended along the way. His love, generosity and big heart will never be forgotten. A funeral service has been held at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home followed by a burial at St. Jude's Cemetery in Oakville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Oakville Hospital Foundation or Bob Rumball Associations for the Deaf. CASHUBEC, Rita Hendrika (Schuiling) May 16, 1937 - March 20, 2018 The full and loving life of Rita Cashubec, aged 80, ended peacefully on March 20, 2018 in O akville Ontario. Rita's high energy afforded her the benefit of activity, travel, and friendship. At an early age she sought participation in numerous sports and other outdoor activities. She was adored by fam ily and friends for her fun-loving demeanour, vibrant attitude, and strong nature. She inspired many and will be dearly missed. Rita was preceded in death by her husband Raymond and is survived by her children Andrea (Wagner) and Scott, her grand children Azia, Dane, Madison, Eilish, and Bradford. Her family wishes to celebrate her life in privacy. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her name to The Alzheimer's Society of Waterloo. He came with them as a small boy to Montreal. Geoff was born to be an engineer, graduating from McGill in 1951. He enjoyed the challenges, the travel and the colleagues of his profession. He was married to Margot (Lusby) in 1953. They moved from M ontreal to several cities in Ontario and Quebec and settled in Oakville in 1981 where they retired. In retirement he was a keen gardener, a Friday m orn in g co ffe e d evotee, an enthusiastic bridge player at the Oakville Golf Club and a founding member of the Probus Club of Old Oakville. He was a loving husband, a very proud father of his daughters Susan Simpson of Victoria, B.C. and Lynne Cordy also of Victoria and a delighted grandfather of Charlotte Cordy of V icto ria . He w ill be remembered by his dear sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Lorne W alker of Montreal as well as cousins in England. A private family service will be held at St. Jude's Church in Oakville. For those who wish, a donation in Geoff's memory to the Salvation Army, whose work he admired, would be appreciated by the family.
