Halton Student Transportation, along with local school bus operators, held their annual First Rider Program Saturday at schools across the region. The program is designed to help teach first-time school bus riders about bus safety and ease an anxiety about riding the bus for both the kids and their parents. Only 13 students across both North and South America earned perfect scores in the In- ternational Baccalaure- ate (IB) program this time around.
